Your diagnostic answers stay in your browser.
Fix or Replace requires no account. Model selections, diagnostic answers, service-note entries and cost figures are processed in the browser and are not submitted to or saved by Fix or Replace. Generated notes are not stored automatically. If you copy, print, download or send a note, that is an action you control.
Hosting and security logs
Our hosting provider may process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site, including IP address, requested URL, browser or device information, approximate location, timestamps, and security events. These records are not used by us to build individual appliance-repair profiles.
Google AdSense and consent
This site uses Google AdSense technology for site verification and, after approval, may display advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses, and information about visits to deliver, limit, measure, and protect ads. Advertising is separate from our diagnostic conclusions.
Where advertising requires consent, including in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent platform is required. Use the available consent message to accept, refuse or manage purposes and partners. Site code checks do not establish the private AdSense approval or consent-message status.
Reader messages
If you contact us, we use the information you provide to answer the message, investigate a correction, or improve a guide. Do not send passwords, payment details, precise home addresses, appliance serial numbers, or other unnecessary personal information. We do not sell reader messages or publish them without permission.
External links
Guides link to manufacturer, government, video, and other external resources. Those services have their own privacy practices. Opening an external link may allow that provider to receive normal request information from your browser.
Your choices
